Religious Education

Religious Education Classes - Grades 1-6

Religious education classes for children in Grades 1-6 are offered on Mondays beginning in September and ending the first week of May. Classes begin at 3:55 PM. Students are dismissed at 5:15 PM. These classes provide religious formation for those students not currently attending Divine Child Elementary School. Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is done within the second grade class periods. Completion of one year of formal religious education is required to receive these sacraments in the second grade.

Classes for children in Grades 7 and 8 are offered on Sundays beginning in September and ending the first week of May. Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, classes will begin at 9:30 AM. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM. Each student is responsible to meet his/her own Sunday Mass obligation. All students must enter and exit via the West parking lot doors. Students in Grade 7 will have class in Room 115, and students in Grade 8 will have class in Room 111.

Tuition for the 2008-2009 religious education school year:

Grades 1 - 6: $100 per child
Grades 7 - 8: $110 per child

A written registration form is required and tuition must be paid in full at the time the registration form is submitted. Please return the registration form to the Religious Ed Office at the Elementary School or the Rectory Office. Click on the link below to print out a registration form:
