Christian Service Commission
The Commission meets every second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Elementary School Teacher's Lounge. Christian Service aims to encourage service by providing opportunities, such as bi-annual food preparation at St. Pat's Senior Center, aid to refugees through donation of goods from parishioners, mentoring opportunities at an inner city school, arranging volunteers to help out at the Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS), sponsoring the Blood Drives, organizing teams of volunteers to visit the nursing homes, sponsoring the annual Christmas food baskets for the needy, providing rides to parishioners to attend Sunday Mass or doctor's appointments, and providing emergency meals.
