Parish Pastoral Council
The purpose of the Divine Child Parish Pastoral Council is to serve as a consultative body to the pastor and act as a coordinating and unifying structure within the parish family; to provide the means to achieve full participation of the entire parish in its mission by giving all a voice in supporting, guiding, and directing the various and varying aspects of parish life; to function as a focal point for the visions, hopes and needs of the community, reflect upon them until a consensus is reached, and to translate such consensus into planning by establishing goals and objectives; and to assure the goals and objectives are implemented by the Council Commissions and Committees, and that they are reviewed and evaluated annually to determine their continued necessity and applicability.
