Spiritual Enrichment
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
The RCIA is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. Also known as the Catechumenate, it is a journey of faith, a process of growth and conversion that takes place through the proclamation of the Gospel, teaching of Catholic doctrine, and a gradual introduction to the custom and practices of Catholic life. This gradual development culminates in the celebration of the initiation of sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist at Easter. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings beginning in September from 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM in the High School Library. For further information, please contact Sr. Helen Therese Bodziak at (313) 562-1990, Ext. 222.
